Establishes the California Student Success Coach Grant Program to award competitive grants to local- and state-operated AmeriCorps programs for supporting student success coaches in high-need schools.

Defines "high-need school" as a kindergarten or grades 1-12 school where 30 percent or more of students come from families with incomes below the federal poverty line.

Defines "student success coach" as a full-time AmeriCorps member who provides evidence-based academic, social, and emotional supports to students while also assisting teachers with classroom instruction and personalized learning.

Program implementation is contingent on the Legislature making an appropriation for the grant program in the annual Budget Act or another statute.
