Exempts a person from civil and criminal liability for property damage or trespass to a motor vehicle when rescuing a child 6 years of age or younger from a vehicle under circumstances that could cause suffering, disability, or death.

Requires a person removing a child to determine the vehicle is locked, contact law enforcement or 911 before forcing entry, have a reasonable belief the child is in imminent danger, and immediately turn the child over to an emergency responder.

Requires the rescuer to remain with the child in a safe location until emergency responders arrive and to use only the necessary force to enter the vehicle and remove the child.

Authorizes peace officers, firefighters, and emergency responders to remove a child from a motor vehicle and arrange for the child's treatment and transport according to local EMS agency medical control policies.

Requires emergency responders to leave written notice with their name, office, and address where the child will be treated in a secure and conspicuous location on or within the vehicle.
