Require state agencies to account for economic damages and financial liabilities associated with climate change impacts when planning, designing, building, operating, maintaining, and investing in state infrastructure.

Extend the Climate-Safe Infrastructure Working Group indefinitely by removing the July 1, 2020 inoperative date and January 1, 2021 repeal date.

Require the working group to consider and build upon the five-year infrastructure plan developed pursuant to Government Code Article 2, Section 13100 et seq., in addition to existing resources.

Allow the working group to convene and perform functions only to the extent that resources are available to fund its support and activities.
