Amends Penal Code Sections 1203.4 and 1203.4a to clarify that dismissal of criminal convictions does not release defendants from criminal protective orders issued by the court in connection with the case.

Criminal protective orders remain in full effect until their expiration or until the court issues a further order modifying or terminating the order, despite dismissal of the underlying accusation or information.

Applies to both probation-eligible defendants (Section 1203.4) and defendants convicted of misdemeanors or infractions without probation (Section 1203.4a).

Specifies that protective orders continue to bind defendants in terms and conditions, ensuring victim safety protections are maintained independently of conviction dismissal outcomes.
