Requires CalWORKs applicants and recipients to be informed of California's compulsory education requirements and include these requirements in their welfare-to-work plans.

Eliminates the personal belief exemption for immunizations required under CalWORKs, effective January 1, 2020 for new applicants and those not currently claiming the exemption, and January 1, 2021 for current recipients using the exemption.

Extends the deadline for providing immunization documentation from 30-45 days to 60 days, with an additional 60-day grace period before the county may exclude parents' or caretaker relatives' needs from grant calculations.

Requires notices to applicants and recipients to include information about Medi-Cal coverage for nonmedical transportation to immunization appointments and notice of the 60-day grace period.

Repeals existing provisions reducing grants for children aged 16 and older who fail to attend school, allowing their needs to be considered in computing family grants.
