Amends Section 437c of the Code of Civil Procedure to clarify that the 75-day notice period for summary judgment motions is extended by 2 court days when notice is served electronically pursuant to Section 1010.6.

Adds electronic service to the existing list of service methods (facsimile transmission, express mail, and overnight delivery) that trigger the 2 court day extension to the 75-day notice requirement.

Makes technical language updates by replacing gendered pronouns ("him or her") with gender-neutral language ("the party") in subsections (m) and (p).
