Grants peace officer status to security officers of the California Science Center, previously non-peace officers who could only exercise limited arrest powers.

Requires California Science Center peace officers to meet training requirements specified in Section 832 of the Penal Code, consistent with other peace officers.

Expands the authority of the Exposition Park Manager to appoint chief, assistant chief, and all security and safety officers who shall have peace officer powers at the California Science Center and Exposition Park facilities.

Makes conforming changes to the Penal Code and Health and Safety Code to reflect the new peace officer status and training requirements for California Science Center security personnel.
