Secretary of State must send written notice within 30 days to any LLC whose articles of organization are accepted but later determined to have a non-compliant name under existing law, requesting amendment within 45 days at no cost.

Notice must include at least two suggestions for modifying the LLC name to comply with requirements and instructions for submitting documents to obtain permission for a non-compliant name.

Secretary of State must send a second notice if the LLC has not submitted completed documentation within 60 days, stating that the next biennial Statement of Information will not be accepted until the LLC amends its name or submits appropriate documents.

Secretary of State must review complaints about LLC name non-compliance submitted by third parties and make a validity determination within 30 days of complaint submittal.
