Defines "sponsoring organization" as any organization required to file reports with the Attorney General that maintains donor-advised funds meeting the specified criteria.

Authorizes the Attorney General to establish different reporting rules for the donor-advised fund classification to ensure current periodic reports and prevent unreasonable administrative burden on charitable trusts.

Updates references from "Commissioner of Financial Institutions" to "Commissioner of Business Oversight" and uses gender-neutral language throughout the statute.
