Amends Education Code Section 44807 to prohibit school employees from compelling pupils to sign documents intended to bind or affect a pupil's behavior, disciplinary status, or treatment.

Prohibits school employees from imposing any discipline or restriction on a pupil for refusing to sign such a document.

Makes gender-neutral language updates to existing provisions regarding physical control of pupils by teachers and certificated employees.

Clarifies that physical control exercised by school employees cannot exceed the amount reasonably necessary to maintain order, protect property, protect health and safety, or maintain proper learning conditions.
