Revives claims for sexual assault damages by physicians employed at UCLA medical clinics or holding privileges at UCLA hospitals between January 1, 1983, and January 1, 2019, that would otherwise be barred by statute of limitations before January 1, 2021.

Allows such revived claims to proceed if already pending in court on January 1, 2021, or permits new claims to be filed between January 1, 2021, and December 31, 2021.

Does not revive claims that have been litigated to finality or settled by written agreement before January 1, 2021.

Maintains existing statute of limitations for sexual assault civil actions: the later of 10 years from the last act of assault or 3 years from discovery of injury resulting from sexual assault.

Includes existing provision reviving claims exceeding $250,000 against non-public entities for physician sexual misconduct at student health centers between January 1, 1988, and January 1, 2017, with claims filed between January 1, 2020, and December 31, 2020.
