Parents or legal guardians of minors ages 14-17 in the entertainment industry must ensure the minor completes online sexual harassment prevention training provided by the Department of Fair Employment and Housing, with the parent or guardian present during the training.

Parents or legal guardians must certify to the Labor Commissioner that the training has been completed prior to issuance of an entertainment work permit.

Training must be provided in a language understood by the person receiving it whenever reasonably possible.

A licensee must request and retain a copy of the minor's entertainment work permit before representing or sending a minor on auditions, meetings, or interviews.

The bill takes effect immediately as an urgency statute and contains no reimbursement requirement for local agencies or school districts.
