Requires licensees under the California Child Day Care Facilities Act and each of their employees to complete trauma-informed childcare training.

Adds Section 1596.8664 to the Health and Safety Code to establish the training requirement.

Expands existing crimes under the act by making willful or repeated violations of the new training requirement subject to criminal penalties.

Exempts the state from providing reimbursement to local agencies or school districts for costs incurred, as the only costs are related to the creation of a new crime or infraction under existing law.
