Public schools (grades 7-12) that issue pupil identification cards must print the National Sexual Assault Hotline (1-800-656-4673) and a local sexual and reproductive health care resource telephone number on either side of the cards, effective July 1, 2020.

Private schools (grades 7-12) that issue pupil identification cards must print only the National Sexual Assault Hotline number on either side of the cards, effective July 1, 2020.

Public and nonsectarian private institutions of higher education that issue student identification cards must print either a local sexual assault hotline or the National Sexual Assault Hotline, plus a local sexual and reproductive health care resource number on either side of the cards, effective July 1, 2020.

Sectarian private institutions of higher education that issue student identification cards must print either a local sexual assault hotline or the National Sexual Assault Hotline on either side of the cards, effective July 1, 2020.

Schools and institutions with existing noncompliant identification card supplies as of January 1, 2020, may continue issuing those cards until supplies are depleted.
