Requires the California Community Colleges chancellor's office to establish a naturalist workforce model curriculum and related vocational programs by July 31, 2022, for the 2022–23 academic year.

Mandates the curriculum be developed in consultation with community college experts, environmental science faculty, conservancies, nonprofit organizations, the California Conservation Corps, water districts, and relevant government agencies.

Requires the Academic Senate for California Community Colleges to approve, modify, or reject the final curriculum contents.

Specifies the curriculum should provide training in natural and cultural history, state park work, conservation, public health communication, data collection, scientific writing, and environmental presentations.

Requires the chancellor to submit annual reports by March 1 detailing student participation rates, career outcomes in outdoor preservation and access, and workforce needs data in environmental and conservation industries.
