Extends confidentiality protections for home addresses in Department of Motor Vehicles records to adult abuse investigators and social workers in protective services within social services departments.

Adds public guardians, public conservators, and public administrators of each county and their staff to the list of persons whose home addresses can be kept confidential upon request.

Maintains existing exceptions allowing disclosure of confidential home addresses to courts, law enforcement agencies, the State Board of Equalization, and attorneys in civil or criminal actions demonstrating need through subpoena.

Requires confidential home addresses to be withheld from public inspection for three years following termination of employment, unless termination results from criminal conviction.

Makes legislative findings that protecting the privacy of these officials and investigators outweighs the public's interest in disclosure of their home addresses.
