Recognizes the week of March 17, 2019, to March 23, 2019, inclusive, as Dual Enrollment Week in California.

Encourages colleges and universities to visit high schools and assist pupils in registering for dual enrollment courses.

Acknowledges that dual enrollment programs allow high school students to earn college credit while enrolled in high school, resulting in tuition savings.

Notes that in the 2017–18 academic year, 154,924 high school pupils in California were enrolled in community colleges through dual enrollment programs.

Recognizes dual enrollment as a pathway to higher education for underrepresented communities and a means to build a career-ready workforce.
