Recognizes April 2019 as California Community College Month in the state of California.

Commends the state's 115 community colleges for serving more than 2.2 million students and providing pathways to transfer into California State University, University of California, and independent colleges and universities.

Acknowledges that California Community Colleges provide essential workforce training, low enrollment fees, open admissions, and support services to make higher education accessible to all Californians.

Urges California residents to participate in public events held at local community college campuses during California Community College Month.

Directs the Chief Clerk of the Assembly to transmit copies of the resolution to the Governor, California Education Round Table, Board of Governors of the California Community Colleges, and the author.
