Designates the portion of Interstate 505 between the Interstate 80 interchange and Vaca Valley Parkway in Solano County as the CHP Officer Kirk Griess Memorial Highway.

Honors California Highway Patrol Officer Kirk Griess, who was struck and killed by a distracted driver on August 10, 2018, while conducting a traffic stop on westbound Interstate 80.

Requests the Department of Transportation to determine the cost of appropriate memorial signs and erect them upon receiving donations from nonstate sources to cover the cost.

Recognizes Officer Griess' 16 years of service in the CHP Solano office and his involvement as a father, coach, and community member in Vacaville before his death.
