Proclaims the week of January 26, 2020, through February 1, 2020, as School Choice Week in California.

Affirms the state's commitment to educational excellence and diverse educational options for all students regardless of residence or background.

Recognizes school choice programs as providing pupils and parents access to high-quality schools, particularly benefiting low-income families with limited educational options.

Emphasizes that taxpayers and parents who fund public schools should be able to choose which school is best for their children and that school choice promotes parental involvement.

Directs the Chief Clerk of the Assembly to transmit copies of this resolution to the National School Choice Week organization and to the author for distribution.
