CA SB105

Increases the maximum authorized costs for Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation design, construction, and renovation projects from $1,089,579,000 to $1,139,429,000, an increase of $49,850,000.

Makes the additional $49,850,000 available for allocation to any project established by the board in the Health Care Facility Improvement Program, subject to State Public Works Board approval.

Requires the Department of Finance to report project details to the Joint Legislative Budget Committee and fiscal committees of both houses at least 20 days before board approval, including project name, allocation amount, reason, and estimated completion date.

Continuously appropriates funds derived from interim financing, revenue bonds, negotiable notes, or bond anticipation notes issued under these provisions to the board on behalf of the department for specified purposes.

Takes effect immediately as a budget-related appropriations bill.
