El Dorado County elections official shall conduct Fallen Leaf Lake Community Services District elections under the Uniform District Election Law, with qualified voters including resident registered voters and non-resident property owners or their designees.

Non-resident property owners may designate only one person to vote on their behalf regardless of the number of parcels owned, and a parcel cannot simultaneously have both a designated voter and resident voter(s).

District elections shall be held on the last Tuesday of August in odd-numbered years, unless the elections official determines a different date better serves the public interest.

Fallen Leaf Lake Community Services District is restricted to providing only fire protection, medical services (including emergency response), and parks and recreation services and facilities.

Violations of voting and designation provisions are subject to Elections Code penal provisions, and the secretary must provide preliminary eligible voter lists to the elections official at least 125 days before elections with updates at least 45 days before.
