Prohibits marketing or sales agents from misleading customers about their affiliation with gas utilities, misrepresenting that gas service is required, or requiring customers to disclose current or past utility bills.

Establishes new disclosure requirements for core transport agents to inform customers at least every six months about pricing differences compared to other natural gas retailers and potential savings.

Requires core transport agents to disclose the price that will apply after any temporary or trial pricing period concludes, with notice provided at least 60 days in advance.

Clarifies that core transport agents are independent entities that must register with the commission and cannot physically disconnect or reconnect customers from the gas grid—only the gas corporation or local utility providing distribution service may do so.
