Extends the operative date of California's revocable transfer on death (TOD) deed provisions from January 1, 2021 to January 1, 2022.

Revocable TOD deeds allow property transfers to named beneficiaries that take effect upon the transferor's death and remain revocable until that time.

Maintains existing requirements that TOD deeds be notarized, recorded with the county recorder, and recorded within 60 days of execution.

Preserves the validity of any revocable TOD deed executed before January 1, 2022, even if the statutory provisions expire on that date.

Allows the transferor to continue revoking a TOD deed after January 1, 2022 by recording a signed and notarized instrument in the form specified in Section 5644.
