CA SB1307

Authorizes the Landscaping and Lighting District of the City of Rosemead to perform maintenance and make improvements pursuant to Sections 22525 and 22531 of the Streets and Highways Code, in addition to existing authority under Section 18030.

Expands the district's authority under the Landscaping and Lighting Act of 1972 to supplement existing powers under the Street Lighting Act of 1919.

Makes legislative findings that a special statute is necessary for the City of Rosemead due to unique needs for immediate maintenance and improvements that cannot be addressed by general law.
