Adds Section 1720.1 to the Labor Code designating construction projects subject to prevailing wage requirements by the Fort Ord Reuse Authority within Fort Ord territory as "public works" for prevailing wage law purposes.

Applies to construction, alteration, demolition, installation, or repair work done under private contract on projects within Fort Ord that are subject to prevailing wage requirements per Section 3.03.090 of the Fort Ord Reuse Authority Master Resolution (amended January 8, 2016).

Requires prevailing wage requirements to remain in effect even after the Fort Ord Reuse Authority dissolves, with successor entities and member agencies responsible for enforcing requirements on Fort Ord property under their jurisdiction.

Applies to work performed after the bill's effective date and does not affect remedies for prevailing wage violations on work performed before the effective date.

Specifies that no state reimbursement is required because the bill creates a new crime by expanding the definition of "public works," which falls under Section 17556 of the Government Code.
