CA SB1354

Requires the Commission on Peace Officer Standards and Training and local law enforcement agencies to post standards, policies, practices, operating procedures, and education and training materials on their internet websites in English, Spanish, and any other language spoken by at least 5% of the population in their jurisdiction.

Applies to information that would otherwise be available to the public under the California Public Records Act.

Effective January 1, 2020.

Constitutes a state-mandated local program; requires state reimbursement to local agencies and school districts for compliance costs if the Commission on State Mandates determines costs are mandated by the state.
