Repeals Section 4999.46.1 of the Business and Professions Code, which governs supervision and registration requirements for professional clinical counselor associates.

Eliminates the requirement that associates and licensure applicants be under supervisor supervision at all times.

Removes the requirement that associates inform clients prior to service that they are unlicensed and under supervision.

Eliminates the five-renewal maximum limit for associate registrations and the six-year registration duration cap.

Removes provisions allowing applicants to obtain a subsequent associate registration number after exhausting renewals and prohibiting subsequent registrants from private practice employment.
