Electrical corporations must notify the Wildfire Safety Division within one month of completing a substantial portion of vegetation management requirements in their wildfire mitigation plan.

The Wildfire Safety Division must audit completed vegetation management work and provide results to the electrical corporation, which has a reasonable time period to correct any deficiencies.

An independent evaluator must issue a report within one year of the correction period's expiration describing any failure of the electrical corporation to substantially comply with vegetation management requirements.

Electrical corporations must notify the Public Utilities Commission at least 30 days before projecting they will have spent their entire annual revenue requirement for vegetation management.

All electrical line clearance tree trimmers performing vegetation management work must be qualified trimmers and must be paid no less than the prevailing wage rate for a first period apprentice electrical utility lineman.
