CA SB324

Authorizes the Landscaping and Lighting District of the City of Temple City to perform maintenance and make improvements pursuant to Sections 22525 and 22531 of the Streets and Highways Code, in addition to existing authority under Section 18030.

Allows the district to conduct street lighting maintenance and operations under the Landscaping and Lighting Act of 1972, expanding its powers beyond the Street Lighting Act of 1919.

Legislature declares that a special statute is necessary for the City of Temple City due to unique maintenance and improvement needs that cannot be addressed through general statute.
