Requires the Chancellor's Office of the California Community Colleges to develop a forest and woodlands restoration workforce model curriculum in collaboration with the Academic Senate for California Community Colleges, with programs to be offered by July 31, 2021

Model curriculum shall be developed in consultation with experts from the California Department of Forestry and Fire Protection, University of California Extension, and nonprofit organizations specializing in forest and woodland restoration and fire management

Curriculum shall include professional training in prescribed fire implementation, equipment operation, house retrofitting, urban forestry, utility infrastructure management, and defensible space maintenance

Allocates appropriated funds to community college districts that offer coursework in accordance with the model curriculum to cover implementation costs

Establishes intent that certified graduates can matriculate into prescribed fire teams of the California Department of Forestry and Fire Protection or work with other state, federal, and private forest restoration efforts
