Requires the Director of Transportation to establish an advisory committee to provide input on selecting a physical suicide deterrent system for the San Diego-Coronado Bridge.

Advisory committee must include representatives from San Diego County, California Highway Patrol, City of San Diego, City of Coronado, a mental health advocate, a local suicide prevention group member, and residents from both cities.

Advisory committee shall also include one representative each from Assembly Members and State Senators whose districts include the bridge, selected by those legislators.

Advisory committee provisions automatically repeal upon Department of Transportation's selection of a physical suicide deterrent system or on January 1, 2030, whichever occurs first.

Bill takes effect immediately as an urgency statute approved October 8, 2019.
