CA SB657

Authorizes county agricultural commissioners to report on cannabis production (condition, acreage, production, and value) to the Secretary of Food and Agriculture in the same manner as agricultural product reports.

Allows cannabis data to be organized by state cultivator license type, local authorization type, and price tier (including by strain, production method, or plant part).

Prohibits county agricultural commissioners from seeking reimbursement for reporting expenses from the Department of Food and Agriculture Fund or cooperative agreement funding under Food and Agricultural Code Section 2222.

Makes cannabis reporting optional for county agricultural commissioners and does not require the department to publish the data.
