Require associations to hold board director elections at the expiration of each director's term and at least once every four years.

Allow director nominees to be elected by acclamation (without a secret ballot) when the number of nominees equals or is less than the number of vacant director positions, but only for associations with 6,000 or more units that provide at least 30 days' notice of the election and nomination procedures.

Mandate disqualification of nominees who are not association members at the time of nomination, while permitting disqualification for criminal convictions affecting fidelity bond coverage, non-payment of assessments (with specified exceptions), joint ownership conflicts, or membership for less than one year.

Amend the Corporations Code to allow common interest developments with 5,000 or more members to declare nominees elected by acclamation if the number of nominees does not exceed the number of vacancies and proper notice was provided.
