Mandates that backup electrical resources specifically support the operation of the customer's qualifying medical device.

Requires electrical corporations to develop their backup resource programs in consultation with community disability rights groups or other local disability rights advocates.

Adds these requirements to existing wildfire mitigation plans that must be annually prepared and submitted to the Wildfire Safety Division for review and approval.

Clarifies that electrical corporations may deploy backup resources or provide financial assistance under other authorities in addition to these new requirements.
