CA SB903

Amends Penal Code Section 489 to specify how fines from grand theft convictions involving agricultural equipment (Section 487k violations) are allocated in rural crime prevention program counties.

Requires fines to be allocated by the Controller to the Central Valley Rural Crime Prevention Program and Central Coast Rural Crime Prevention Program in accordance with the schedule specified in Penal Code Section 13821(c)(12).

Applies to counties participating in rural crime prevention programs under Title 11.5 or Title 11.7 of California's Penal Code.

Designated as an urgency statute, taking effect immediately upon approval on September 28, 2020.
