Extends statute of limitations for felony computer crimes under Penal Code Section 502 from 3 years after commission to 3 years after discovery of the offense.

Requires criminal complaints for these felony offenses to be filed within 9 years of the commission of the offense, establishing an absolute deadline.

Applies retroactively to crimes committed on or after January 1, 2021, and to crimes where the previous statute of limitations has not yet expired as of January 1, 2021.

Covers computer-related crimes including unauthorized access to computers, computer systems, or computer networks.
