Recognizes June 27, 2019, as the anniversary of the University Council-American Federation of Teachers (UC-AFT) beginning representation of University of California librarians.

Commends UC-AFT librarians for their contributions to the University of California system.

Notes that UC-AFT represents more than 370 librarians and 5,000 faculty employees across the 10 University of California campuses.

Acknowledges that librarians voted on June 27, 1983, to be represented by UC-AFT and began collective bargaining in December 1983.

Directs the Secretary of the Senate to transmit copies of the resolution to the Office of the President of the University of California.
