Honors United States Forest Service Firefighter Brent Michael Witham, who was killed on August 2, 2017, when struck by a falling tree while working on the Lolo Peak Fire in Montana

Witham was born July 9, 1988, in Redlands, California, and was a member of the Vista Grande Hotshot crew based in the San Bernardino National Forest; he had six years of firefighting experience at age 29

Requests the Department of Transportation to determine the cost of appropriate memorial signs and erect them upon receipt of donations from nonstate sources to cover expenses

Secretary of the Senate directed to transmit copies of the resolution to the Director of Transportation and the resolution's author for distribution
