Requests the Department of Transportation to determine the cost of appropriate signage for this special designation and to erect signs upon receipt of donations from nonstate sources covering the cost

Recognizes California's commitment to wildlife preservation and protection through formal designation of wildlife corridors

Acknowledges that wildlife crossings reduce vehicle-wildlife collisions, provide ecosystem services, and maintain habitat connectivity for native species
