Honors Sergeant MacPherson, who was born July 20, 1986, in Long Beach, California, enlisted in the Army in May 2007, and was killed at age 26 during his fourth deployment to Afghanistan in combat operations in Ghazni Province

Recognizes Sergeant MacPherson's service with the 75th Ranger Regiment and his awards including the Bronze Star Medal with Valor, Purple Heart, and Meritorious Service Medal
