Designates Monday, May 4, 2020, as California Peace Officers' Memorial Day to honor peace officers who sacrificed their lives in the line of duty.

Recognizes five California peace officers killed in 2019: Officer Natalie Corona (Davis PD), Sergeant Steve Licon (CHP), Officer Tara O'Sullivan (Sacramento PD), Officer Andre Moye Jr. (CHP), and Deputy Brian Ishmael (El Dorado County Sheriff's Department).

Recognizes two additional peace officers killed in the recent past not yet enrolled: Officer Armando Gallegos Jr. (CDCR, September 14, 2018) and Officer Toshio Hirai (Gardena PD, November 15, 2018).

Recognizes eight peace officers killed in the distant past not yet enrolled, dating from 1852 to 1935.

Urges all Californians to use California Peace Officers' Memorial Day to honor fallen officers and express appreciation to those currently serving in public safety.
