Requires the Office of the Chancellor of the California State University, in collaboration with the Academic Senate of the California State University, to develop by September 1, 2022, a consistent policy to award course credit to military personnel and veterans with official Joint Services Transcripts for courses with subject matter similar or equivalent to their military education, training, and service.

Requests (but does not require) the University of California to develop a similar consistent policy for awarding course credit to military personnel and veterans by September 1, 2022.

Mandates each California State University campus to have a policy consistent with the statewide policy in effect by December 31, 2023, and requests the University of California to do the same.

Requires both California State University and requests the University of California to periodically review and adjust their policies to align with policies of other public postsecondary educational institutions.

Requires all California State University campuses and requests University of California campuses to post their most recent military education course credit policies on their internet websites.
