Approves agreements between the state employer and State Bargaining Units 16 and 18 dated May 1-3, 2022 for California Correctional Health Care Services Retention and Recruitment Pay Differential.

Provisions requiring expenditure of funds shall not take effect unless the Legislature specifically appropriates funding; either party may reopen negotiations if funds are not appropriated.

Provisions may become effective through legislation other than the annual Budget Act, notwithstanding existing Government Code requirements.

Appropriates $14,002,000 for State Bargaining Units 16, 18, and all employees excluded from collective bargaining for state employee compensation purposes.

Takes effect immediately as a bill providing appropriations related to the Budget Bill.
