Extends Santa Clara County's individualized county childcare subsidy pilot program from July 1, 2022 to July 1, 2023, aligning with other participating counties.

Requires the State Department of Social Services and State Department of Education to review existing individualized county childcare pilot programs and submit a report to the Legislature by June 30, 2022.

Report must include recommendations on which pilot program flexibilities should be adopted statewide and which are no longer justified given statewide policy changes, considering administrative burden for departments and counties.

Repeals the reporting requirement on January 1, 2024.

Takes effect immediately as an urgency statute to provide maximum time for state departments to complete the review and for Santa Clara County to adjust to the extended program.
