Reduces minimum theatrical seating requirement from 2,100 seats to 1,600 seats for historic theaters in San Francisco eligible for alcoholic beverage advertising exceptions.

Establishes maximum theatrical seating limit of 2,400 seats for qualifying theaters.

Applies to for-profit theaters with special on-sale general licenses built prior to 1927 and designated as historic by the National Register of Historic Places or San Francisco Historic Preservation Commission.

Maintains existing restrictions prohibiting advertising agreements from requiring retailers to exclusively purchase or sell specific alcoholic beverages.

Effective September 13, 2022.
