Prohibits retail establishments from selling dietary supplements for weight loss or over-the-counter diet pills to persons under 18 years of age without a prescription, effective July 1, 2023.

Requires retail establishments to request valid identification from purchasers who reasonably appear to be under 18 years of age when buying these products.

Mandates the State Department of Public Health to develop and distribute a notice stating that certain weight loss supplements or OTC diet pills may contribute to gastrointestinal impairment, heart conditions, stroke, organ failure, death, or severe liver injury requiring transplant.

Requires retail establishments to post the health warning notice developed by the Department of Public Health.

Establishes civil penalties of up to $1,000 per violation, with retail clerks exempt from penalties except when willfully participating in an ongoing conspiracy to violate the law.
