Requires residential or commercial property insurance policies issued, amended, or renewed on or after January 1, 2022 to include a discount if the local government where the property is located funds a local wildfire protection or mitigation program.

Local wildfire protection or mitigation programs must be authorized either by ordinance or by voter-approved measure.

Amends the Insurance Rate Reduction and Reform Act of 1988 (Proposition 103), requiring a two-thirds legislative vote as mandated by that initiative.

Applies to both residential and commercial property insurance policies, expanding the scope beyond initial residential-only provisions.
