Establishes the Innovative Renewable Energy for Buildings Act of 2022, requiring the State Energy Resources Conservation and Development Commission to create a financial incentive program for producers of renewable propane, renewable hydrogen, and renewable dimethyl ether used in California buildings.

Provides financial incentives of $1.50 per gallon for the first 25 million gallons produced and $1.25 per gallon for production above 25 million gallons.

Creates the Innovative Renewable Energy for Buildings Fund, with moneys available upon appropriation by the Legislature for program purposes.

Requires producers to submit annual documentation to the commission detailing the volume of renewable gases produced and their disposition by retail end-user type.

Requires the commission to submit annual reports to the Legislature beginning January 1, 2024, detailing production volumes and uses of the renewable gases; the program sunsets on January 1, 2032.
