Requires superior courts to provide court users access to a lactation room in any courthouse where an employee lactation room exists, effective July 1, 2024.

Lactation room for court users must be located within the court facility in an area accessible to the public or reasonably accessible using the court facility.

Court user lactation rooms must meet all requirements of Labor Code Section 1031, except courts may omit certain requirements if facing operational, financial, or space limitations.

Designated lactation rooms must not be bathrooms and must be shielded from view and free from intrusion while in use.
